This is my 3D rendition of the Tim Burton Charmander, of course the most obvious change is the eyes. I figured it would make more sense to have the eyes on either side of the head as opposed to on the front, this allowed me to keep the silhouette of the character.

Tim Burton Pokemon

I came across this image of these familiar yet uniquely drawn characters while perusing some blogs. Apparently there is an artist who goes by Hatboy that redesigned the original Pokemon in a Tim Burton like style. As a fan of both the RPG and the strange dark style influenced by the famous director/writer/artist, I am going to try my hand in bringing some of these characters into the world of 3D.
